Axelrad (photo) is bringing the tunes and offering drink specials to celebrate dad on Father’s Day. The Midtown bar will host AXEL-DAD the daybefore Father's day on June 14 from 1 to 6 pm. The event will feature a Foo Fighters cover band, the "Foo Fathers," The Monicas (90's Tribute Band), and DJ Dad Jams. The Original Ninfa’s: Uptown and Navigation
The Original Ninfa’s is celebrating dads with a Father’s Day special at both restaurant locations. The Clarified Spicy Negroni, dubbed “El Jefe’s Day Off”, is available on Sunday, June 15 for $13. The cocktail substitutes gin for mezcal, clarified the build for a clean, silky texture, and layered in a habanero infusion with a touch of Ancho Reyes to round out the smoke and spice. Finished with a Thai chile, burned to order for a hit of heat and aroma. Celebrate dad with fajitas, enchiladas, and the best Mexican food in Texas since Texas was in Mexico!
Treebeards (Bunker Hill)
Treebeards on Bunker Hill is pouring pints for dads on Father’s Day. Available on Sunday, June 15, the hometown favorite will offer All Draft Beers at $3 a pint for dads and father figures at the restaurant at 9655 Katy Freeway from 11am to 9pm. Southern menu classics such as chicken & sausage gumbo, shrimp etouffee, jambalaya and more all make for a hearty and delicious Father’s Day celebration. Saint Arnold Brewing Company invites all to join them on June 15 at the beer garden & restaurant for the Father’s Day Grand Prix featuring an F1 Watch Party and Car Show, presented in partnership with Hyper Meets. Kicking off at 11am, the Houston favorite will will their parking lot with exotics, Euros, and unique builds. Vendors will be on site with collectible diecast and model cars.
